About the Author

Kathleen Ho has lived in Southern California since her family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam in 1994. She has worked in the educational field for more than ten years. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University Pomona, Pomona. Kathleen also has a single subject teaching credential in Foundation Level Math from California State University Fullerton, Fullerton.

Outside of work, Kathleen has involved with the All Nations Toastmasters Club, located in Anaheim, California. All Nations Toastmasters is one of the clubs in a worldwide network of clubs of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills.

Kathleen had been married to David Bigby for ten years by the time of his passing in 2015. Together, they had built up a retail and online business. Besides, they enjoyed watching movies, discovering new places, and taking a walk on the beach with each other. David’s death changed Kathleen’s life completely. Her world collapsed with this loss. However, with the support of her family and friends, she was able to bounce back to life two years later. Since then, she has committed to help those who are struggling with the death of loved ones to honor her late husband’s life.
